ESEPSY 1159 : Online Learning Strategies and Skills
This course introduces you to the tools that exist in the online world so you can be strategic and efficient while bringing more interest and value to your studies. In this seven-week course, you’ll learn how to use online tools for time management and organization, develop strategies for online learning, and stay motivated and focused.
ESEPSY 1259 : Learning and Motivation Strategies for College Success
This is our flagship course and an excellent choice for undergraduate students at any level. You’ll learn what it takes to be a strategic college learner at Ohio State. By the end of the semester, you’ll be able to apply strategies – from motivation and time management to goal setting and study techniques – that will help you excel in your other courses.
ESEPSY 1359 : Critical Thinking and Collaboration in Online Learning
Equip yourself with the digital strategies of an advanced student or polished professional. You’ll learn best practices to find and evaluate online resources, plus what to do to understand them deeply. You’ll also learn how to communicate findings in research and academic settings. Guest speakers from inside and outside Ohio State are invited to share valuable insights into communicating persuasively.
EDUCST 1500 : Student Tech for Academic Success
Designed especially for first-year Buckeyes to take during summer, this course explores technologies and mindsets to help you be successful in academia and your future career.
ESEPSY 2059 : Becoming a Self-Regulated Learner
This seven-week offering is a smart choice for students who are looking to add an additional course for the second half of the semester. As a student in this supportive and engaging class, you will develop strategies and motivation for self-regulation, active learning, and time management.
ESEPSY 2060 : Academic Success Strategies for International Students
This seven-week offering has been designed in partnership with the Office of International Affairs to help international students develop skills and strategies for success in U.S. educational environments.
