Who Can Attend?
All Ohio State students are welcome to attend any of our workshops. Certain workshops, such as Test Taking or Gearing Up for Higher Education, are more geared toward undergraduate audiences, while other workshops, such as Drinking from a Firehose, are more geared toward graduate or professional students.
Workshop Registration
- Register for a workshop. Although we handle registration through the First-Year Experience Success Series, students of all levels and academic backgrounds attend our workshops. Search for “Dennis Learning Center” or look through the “Thrive Acaemically” theme to find our workshops.
What if the Workshop I’m Interested in is Unavailable?
If the workshop you would like to attend is unavailable at the moment, follow us on social media to get notified about new events. If you are a part of a student group (e.g., student organization, team, residence hall, greek life), you can request a workshop. You can also ask your professor or advisor or RA to request a workshop for your group or class. Alternatively, you can schedule an appointment with one of our academic coaches to review the material directly.
