If you have ever been in a lecture where the instructor was speaking too quickly or just very monotone, you may have wondered if there is a better way to take notes. You worry about keeping up or just not sure what to write down at all. You may have access to note-taking technology like Glean or Read&Write, but you may not be sure how to use the tools in the best way. Being an engaged listener and taking effective notes is not always easy. This workshop can help you build your speed and skill to have A+ lecture notes!

In this workshop you will learn how to:
- Be more effective at taking notes so you can get the most out of your classroom instruction
- Recognize instructor emphasis and determine which information is most relevant
- Organize lecture content
- Learn how to use tech tools to be an efficient note-taker, including Glean and Read&Write
- Develop an effective study plan based on your notes
