What students are saying:

“Prior to attending the Active Note-Taking workshop, I was in the habit of copying down exactly what my professor was saying. From this workshop, I learned that this wasn’t an effective way to take notes! I’ve tried a couple of the note-taking strategies that were talked about in the workshop, and I’ve noticed a really big difference in my understanding of the material.”

“The Cornell note-taking style has helped me so much! It definitely took some practice, but my notes are much more organized now, and I feel like I retain more information with this method of note-taking.”
