Directions for posting messages in the Discussions

The "title" frame (across the top of your screen) has a couple of links.  They are:

• [Post] will allow you to post a message.
• [Search] will allow you to search for a string of text, such as the name of a student or words in a message.

The "contents" frame (on the left side of your screen) shows the titles of all messages posted to the discussion. Selecting a title will cause the corresponding message to be loaded into the "message" screen (on the right side of your screen).

So you have the following options in the discussion:

• Read messages posted by others by selecting one in the "contents" frame
• Once you have read a message, each message has links to let you reply to it (continue the thread) and navigate the article list.
• Post a new message (start a new thread) by clicking on the [Post] link in the "title" frame (across the top of your screen).  There is also a "Post" link in the original "message frame.

Note: You will  need to reload/refresh the discussion page to see the most current entries.
